                                                THE BEE

This Oddity is one of my own. It is a bee bottle figural dug from a privy in Allentown Pa. Wm A Selser was the proprietor of a bee farm and a honey bottling operation in Wyncote and Philadelphia  Pa in the late 1880's. Thomas J Wieckowski is the author of a book called "The making of Marathon" A History of early wyncote Pa. Tom  added my Bee bottle to his pages. WM Selser was an important developer in the Wyncote area.

You never know what you are going to pull out of a privy.

This is not a bottle but it sure is an oddity. A full skeleton clay pipe dug by a fellow bottle digger.

This bottle speaks for it self.

It was found by a member of  a bottle forum I frequent.

It is a blown bottle no pun intended.

Here is a unique bottle it is in the shape of a bed bug.

The ingredients is DDT bug killer fro BED BUGS.
