This dig was not a normal dig.It was dubbed the Mine Shaft Privy because we had to tunnel from one privy into the next yard, into another privy. To prevent it from caving in. We had to build a mini mine shaft as we dug down on a angle, three foot sections at a time. We dug a privy on my friends property in 2007,when we were done with that pit we asked his neighbor if we could do his privy. He said" you should have asked me a month ago I just put a new stone parking lot in where you want to dig".But he said if we could get to it (any other way ) then go for it. Two years went by,and we decided to go for it.My buddy Paul came up with the idea.we A dug the pit on 1/17/09 it was a cold zero degrees that day.We didn't get a whole lot of bottles but we got a thrill out of making the plan work.Don't try this at home kids.
